The United Nations’ specialized agency in charge of global public health is the World Health Organization (WHO). The WHO has 150 field offices globally, and six regional offices, and its primary goal is "the attainment by all peoples of the highest possible level of health." Its headquarters are in Geneva, Switzerland.
WHO deals with a wide array of health issues around the globe, including pandemics, epidemics, and contagious and infectious diseases.
